All is right in the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki world. Mitch Payton is back on top and he’s enjoying every minute.
Pro Circuit is currently leading both coasts (Levi Kitchen on the West and Cameron McAdoo on the East) and Mitch deserves all this. After being THE TEAM to beat for what seemed like forever, Mitch and the PC boys have been through the ringer with injuries, missed titles, etc. So, glad to see the boys on top.
After Kitchen dominated in front of his hometown in Seattle last weekend, he talked with Steve Matthes, he of PulpMX Hockey fame, and well, just like many of us, Levi didn’t know St. Louis was a West Region round.
Yep, Levi was all set to soak up some rays on the beach before his mom had to tell him “Yes, there is a race this weekend and you are in it.”
“I planned on going to the beach next weekend to chill, but my mom was like, you have a race next weekend,” Kitchen told Matthes. “So I got to book a flight still… which I always wait till the last minute and it screws me, but yeah, I guess we are racing next weekend.”
