The man, the myth, the legend Jason Lawrence is going back to Loretta Lynn’s Ranch to race the Junior (25+) class in August.
Give us “Things that we never thought that we’d see ever” for $1,000.
The Vurbmoto sometimes contributor, that WE call Law Dog has been back around the sport for almost a year now. We first saw him surface last year at Loretta’s as a spectator and he said that he had hoped to race it again. Well, now WE are going to get just that!
Law Dog raced the Echeconnee Southeast Regional along with other heavy hitters like Jacob Hayes, Brandon Haas, Mike Brown, and Heath Harrison and held his own. He went 3-7-6 for 5th overall and a fresh ticket to the Ranch.
He accepted in classic J-Law fashion.
Now J-Law is still trying to find his way back to the Phoenix Honda bike and he keeps trying to make deals with Team Manager Heath Harrison. J-Law even made his own contract, but it did not work out in his favor.
Will J-Law show up to Loretta Lynn’s to race? Will he be on a Phoenix Honda bike? Will MX Sports need to hire more security just in case? You know, just like old times?
The last time that J-Law raced at the Ranch he was battling to be the next be thing with Ryan Villopoto in the Pro Sport classes in 2005. Lawrence went 1-1-1 in the 125A/Pro Sport class with heavy hitters like Villopoto, Kyle Chisholm, Martin Davalos, Matt Boni, and Cody Gilmore up in the mix.
How is this going to play out? Who cares. The fact that Jason Lawrence is back in the sport, doing media, even helping us out from time to time, and racing is good enough for us.
