World Mini Racing Format Breakdown
Practice
Ok, ok, yes you get to practice at pretty much any event you attend in the US. That part of the format is NOT unique, as World Mini will feature one 15-minute untimed practice session per class. To make practice work we combine some classes, and it is tough to do timed qualifying with mixed groups.
Qualifying Races
This is where World Mini is different. Instead of practicing and going straight into your motos, you instead will compete in a 5 lap (each class) qualifying race. Gate pick for qualifying races are random.
Your result in the qualifying race will be your gate pick for both motos. So, don’t mail it in! It is important to keep in mind that classes featuring more than 40 riders will run divisions for advancement to the Championship race.
Two Moto Format
Following practice and your qualifying race, World Mini features two 15-minute motos with an average of 7-8 laps per moto. From practice to racing, you’ll get on average, 26 laps PER CLASS, so you best bring plenty of fuel.
All of this for an industry best pricing of $80 per class. Do the math… your cost per lap average is significantly less than any Major event in the country.
