Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Drew Adams will miss round 5 of the Pro Motocross Championship this Saturday at Soutwick due to a broken left index finger.
The rookie sustained the injury at the last round at High Point when he crashed in the second moto.
“In Moto 2, I had a decent start and was moving forward until I had a little tip-over,” Adams said per the team. “I got back up and made up a few positions, then ended up having another tip-over and suffered a small break in my index finger on my left hand.”
The 2024 Horizon Award winner turned pro earlier this year with Pro Circuit, but sustained a broken collarbone in his second Supercross race in Glendale. He returned later in the season at Denver Supercross.
Through four rounds of the Pro Motocross Championship, Adams is currently 16th in the 250 championship with his best finish an 11th at the season opener at Fox Raceway.
