Prospect Data Handling Policy

At Prospect, transparency and trust are important to how we handle race-related data. This Data Handling Policy explains what race data we collect, how we use it, what we do not collect, and how tracks, promoters, riders, parents/guardians, and providers can contact us with questions, correction requests, or removal requests.
What We Collect
Prospect collects and uses authorized race and event data, including publicly available race-related information and data provided or authorized by tracks, promoters, series, event organizers, timing providers, scoring providers, registration providers, or results providers.
This may include:
- Rider name
- Race class
- Event name
- Event date
- Track name and location
- Finishing position
- Moto results
- Overall results
- Lap times
- Live timing data
- Class results
- Public event schedules
- Public track, promoter, or series information
- Other race-related data made publicly available or authorized for use in Prospect
This data may come from public results pages, live timing feeds, APIs, provider integrations, direct submissions, files, or other authorized sources.
What We Don’t Collect
Unless separately agreed in writing, Prospect does not knowingly request, collect, or store private registration, payment, or identity information for the purpose of displaying race results or live timing.
This includes:
- Private contact information
- Home or billing addresses
- Payment information
- Date of birth
- Government identification numbers
- Emergency contact information
- Other non-public registration information
Prospect is focused on race-related and event-related data, not private registrant information.
Children’s Privacy
Prospect is used in a sport where many participants are minors. We take children’s privacy seriously.
Prospect may display authorized race and event data involving minor participants when that information is publicly available, provided by an authorized track, promoter, series, event organizer, timing provider, scoring provider, registration provider, or results provider, or otherwise authorized for use in Prospect.
Unless separately agreed in writing or handled through an appropriate parent/guardian consent process, Prospect does not knowingly request, collect, or store private registration, payment, contact, or identity information from children under 13 for the purpose of displaying race results, live timing, rankings, rider profiles, or event information.
For riders under 13, any claimed rider profile, account management, sponsorship activity, purchase activity, or other feature requiring personal information should be managed by a parent or legal guardian.
Parents or legal guardians may contact Prospect to request review, correction, restriction, or removal of personal information associated with a child under 13, subject to Prospect’s need to maintain accurate race records, historical results, rankings, platform integrity, legal obligations, and other legitimate business purposes.
Prospect does not knowingly sell private personal information from children under 13.

How We Use Race Data
Prospect may use authorized race and event data to operate, improve, and commercialize the Prospect platform.
This includes:
- Displaying race results
- Displaying live timing
- Creating and updating rider profiles
- Creating historical race archives
- Creating rankings, leaderboards, statistics, comparisons, and performance analytics
- Helping users discover events, tracks, series, riders, and results
- Sending relevant app notifications and communications
- Supporting track, promoter, and event visibility
- Supporting advertising, sponsorship, promoted placement, and brand activation products
- Supporting paid subscription features
- Creating internal reports, insights, and product improvements
- Developing future motorsports data products related to the Prospect platform
Prospect may create derived data, rankings, scores, analytics, leaderboards, comparisons, and other outputs based on authorized race and event data.
Data Sources and Provider Access
When a track, promoter, series, or event organizer authorizes Prospect to use race and event data, Prospect may request, access, receive, or ingest applicable data from that party’s timing, scoring, registration, live timing, or results provider.
This may include providers such as Trackside, ResultsMX, MYLAPS, MotoTally, RaceReady, LiveLaps, EScore, Fast Laps, or other approved providers.
Accuracy, Corrections, and Removal Requests
Race data may originate from tracks, promoters, timing providers, scoring providers, registration providers, or results providers. Prospect is not the official scoring authority unless separately stated.
If you believe race or event data displayed in Prospect is inaccurate, you may contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to review and correct the issue.
Tracks, promoters, series, providers, riders, parents, or legal guardians may contact us with questions, correction requests, restriction requests, or removal requests.
Track and Promoter Control
Tracks, promoters, series, and event organizers may grant Prospect permission to access, display, store, and use their authorized race and event data.
They may also revoke permission for Prospect to access or receive future race and event data by contacting us.
Unless legally required or otherwise agreed in writing, Prospect may retain historical race and event data that was previously authorized, collected, displayed, archived, or incorporated into rider profiles, rankings, analytics, historical results, or other Prospect platform features before revocation.
Commercial Use
Prospect may monetize the Prospect platform through subscriptions, advertising, sponsorships, promoted placements, analytics, reporting, brand activation tools, and related commercial products.
Prospect does not sell private registration, contact, payment, or identity information obtained from tracks, promoters, or providers unless separately authorized in writing.
Prospect does not knowingly sell private personal information from children under 13.
Updates to This Policy
Prospect may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
