Who are you and the rest of the haters to judge how James lives his life? And Dungey wasnt that fast, James beat him, Windham and Villopoto beat him. He couldn't even catch Villopoto when he was leading, and Villopoto could almost always close the gap! No disrespect to Dungey but he's probably the slowest champion when comparing him to RC,CR, and JS for now at least, we'll see how much faster he is next year. As for James not being on the bike, 1-wrist injury, 2-low budget, 3-practice.

Anyone else ever notice how supporters of "JS7" usually can’t spell?

I like James and think he's pretty much as fast as you can get on a dirtbike. HOWEVER I made a $500 bet last year that Dungey would win the title even though James was there because James is RARELY consistant. Fast is one thing but finishing a season is another. Dungey is a better racer in a championship season than James. James is faster thats about it.

As far as this Redbull thing he is doing o'well. He can do what he wants and if his contracts say it's ok to do that before coming back and racing then I guess it's ok. I doubt he gets hurt doing it and we will most likely see him again soon on the track, but I doubt in a full season title hunt.

Dungey has to be the slowest champion ive seen in along time. The nationals are boring this year. I loved watching Ricky and James ridding on the edge of control and going so fast. I watched the old videos I have and them racing the nationals and there is definitely a difference in speed. James would kick Dungeys ass like there's no tomorrow if he was racing.

We have the chance to have some of the best riders in the world... shut up and enjoy the show!

Dungey rides a very smooth and almost perfect style all the time. He looks slower because of this. Blake Wharton as an amateur was as smooth as they come and everyone thought he was going slow but he was kicking all they're asses. If Dungey is going slow than the rest of the field must suck really bad because he kickes they're asses just about every weekend. Watch him next time he rides. He does everything on the bike very well and I'm pretty sure he's been on 450's a lil less than a year and already more accomplished than James was at this point. And with his style I will bet a VERY large amount of money that in the end Dungey wins more championships than James ever will ala RC.

The only reason that Dungey is more accomplished than Stewart was at this point in his career is because Dungey hasn't had the same competion on the 450 like Stewart had. When Stewart moved up he was battling with RC for the championship and so far Dungey hasn't had anyone close to what Stewart had when he first moved up. He had RV in supercross and probably would have lost that title had it not been for RV getting injured. So until Dungey proves he can consistantly compete with guys like Stewart and Villopoto and beat them he's not someone that's gonna win more championships than Stewart.

Umm how many titles does stewart have on a 450? Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it's 3. Ryan Dungey is well on his way to win his 2nd in 1 year. James has been on 450's since 2005 and he had RC for less then 2 years I think but regardless it's 2010 now. James don't need RC to beat him he does it himself. As much as I would love to make that bet with you I'm not one for taking other people's money. But like I said before Dungey is gonna need to beat Stewart if he even hopes to have the same amount of titles. And aside from the years that he won those titles Stewart had maybe one or two seasons where he was healthy all year or his title count would probably be doubled.

@ahaley dungey is already close to having the same amount of titles....stewart has 2 supercross championships and 1 motocross championships.....dungey is still a rookie and has a supercross title and is on his way to a motocross championship......if he wins this championship he will be more than half way caught up.

I dont hate stewart but i think he is milking a injury. I think his dad pushed him so much and burnt him out and he wanted time off, but he needs to get back racing . I think stewart can win and beat everyone straight up the only one he couldn't was RC the man the Legend. RC was the only one who didnt have any of his titles handed to him he won everyone straight up beating his competition not like stewart or reed. I hope stewart comes back outdoors this year and if he wins then good for him. I just want everyone to get heathy so we can really find out who the champ is indoors & outdoors.
