jamesnobleLast weekend saw the Red Bull Pro National move to Wakes Colne in Essex. The track proved to be in perfect condition on Sunday morning and ready for the race action to begin. The meeting: The Red Bull Pro and also the 2-Stroke Championship.

The Red Bull Pro was holding the final round of the series and with both the MX1 and MX2 titles up for grabs and the Proppa.com Van Slam the tension in the pits could be cut with a knife. In the first of the Red Bull Pro race it was action from the start with Stephen Sword and James Noble getting out front to an early lead, only to crash together in the early laps. The lead was then passed to the relentless pairing of Scott Columb and Martin Barr, who both battled hard until Martin Barr crashed out. This left Carl Nunn, Scott Columb and James Noble to battle for the lead. Nunn made a move for the lead but was soon caught and passed by Noble on the way to the race win. Nunn took second ahead of Scott Columb with Scott Elderfield and Michael Phillips rounding out the top five.carlnunn

The second of the Red Bull Pro races saw James Noble pull another great start and this time stay problem free as he raced to a well earned race win. It was Carl Nunn that pushed hard to close the gap, but to no avail. Third place went to Stephen Sword ahead of Elliot Banks Browne and Jordon Rose. After the two races it was Carl Nunn that took the MX1 title and Neville Bradshaw in the MX2 class.

In the 1 lap Proppa.com van slam James Noble was able to pull the start but it didn't last long as he was soon passed by Carl Nunn, who raced to the win and also to collect the keys to a brand new van.
