What’s the story behind the number 321?
Three-two-one blast off, 321 go, that’s the meaning behind it and I want to keep it as long as possible. To me my number has a lot of meaning, it’s the secret behind my good starts, don’t tell anybody...haha
How Many Titles Have you won to date?
Twenty two and I have won KJSC twice, once at Phoenix and once at the US Open. I have two Loretta’s titles and hope to add to that collection again this year.

With two Loretta’s titles behind you already, how does that help your confidence going into 2008?
Having won two already, I know how good it feels and it makes you want it again and again, you never want to stop. It’s the ultimate in obtaining goals, and it’s what I work for all year long. I know how to win Loretta’s and have the confidence that I can, I believe that it is a huge advantage. I’m not over confident and always respect my competition, but I believe in myself and I go there to win.
Best Memory?
Winning Loretta’s for sure, I’m glad to know that I have done it and that I know how to do it. Winning the KJSC races was also amazing; winning in front of all of the people was the greatest feeling. To be able to be on that podium and experiencing what it feels like for a pro to win at a Supercross is something that I will never forget.
Training for Loretta’s, what’s the plan?
I’m going to try to connect with Mike White who trains Jason Anderson in New Mexico. I’m also going to try and visit the Tomac’s in Colorado and try to just get as much seat time in before Ponca and then just get it done.
Texas went very well for you this year with a total of three titles between Whitney and Oak Hill. How do you plan to continue to carry that momentum heading into Mammoth?
I have a whole bunch of confidence, I like winning and knowing that I can beat these guys is a great tool. I have a lot of talent in my class with riders like Tristan Miller, Rookie White, Mitchell Epstein, and Michael Young to compete with; it’s not going to be easy and I like that. It’s great to have riders like these guys to grow with. I believe that there is going to be great racing for years to come between all of us.

What are your plans after Loretta’s?
Working hard on getting dialed on my 85. It’s going very important to have a stand out year on 85s in 2009. It will help to keep my head straight to continue fighting out front. I want to be able to shine right away on the 85s. I’m going to be riding for American Suzuki and I look forward to everything that I stand to gain as being a part of that program.
