I'm currently on my 64th day of my Georgia to California and back roadtrip. Plain and simple, I'm homesick. I miss my mom, my friends, my family, and it seems the radio/ipod is starting to turn every song I listen to into a daydream of being home. However, as much as I want to be home right now, I couldn't be enjoying my life anymore than I am right at this very moment.

A year and a half ago, Brent and I had a dream of making the best amateur motocross website available, and now, here we are living out that dream. Granted, it's not only Brent and myself, but nearly an army of people that we can't thank enough. We get countless emails every week thanking us for what we are doing, and each time I get to read one, it just brightens my day up that much more. Each and every time I get to read a compliment, I know our mission is worth the work it takes. Thanks so much to all of you who send kind emails, it makes being on the road that much easier.

Needless to say, I'm living a life I couldn't have begun to imagine a few short years ago, and that thought in itself makes me the happiest kid alive. We have big plans for the near future, and even bigger than for the distant future, and I'm so anxious to see where it continues to go.

I have a solid week left of filming out here in California before I go and enjoy a weekend out in Vegas for the Supercross, and then Ms. Kaelyn Sheedy and myself will make the 3000 mile journey back to Florida/Georgia where I will begin preparing for the 2008 AMA Outdoor National Championships presented by FMF. I will also get to spend a weekend in my homestate and attend the last Southeast Qualifier at one of my home tracks called Lazy River-I'm super pumped about that.

It's going to be a long summer, with a whole bunch of videos, but I couldn't be more excited to do it. Here's to some 100 hour work weeks, and all you Vurb fans coming back to check it all out.

Peace Amigos,

Wes Williams
P.S. Sorry about not writing in for so long, being on the road is tough, and sometimes I just can't be asked to sit in front of the computer any longer than I already have. Either way, the Blog King will be making a return! I have some really good stories and photos from my trip, so I have some good stuff coming up!

P.S.S - Special thanks to my boys Jake Rowe & Gary Price - you guys have been a huge help!
