Vurb has found a new love for what Californians calls "The Hills". There is an indescribable feeling that overwhelms your body when you are standing at the top of these mountains surrounded by nothing but miles of mountain peaks and the clear blue sky.

bloodwilson_5283.jpg These hills lead far past the horizon, for hundreds of miles with countless trails winding in and around each inch of there surfaces. We were pumped on our previous Hills trip, (check out the video teaser from Reche Canyon here) that we took one more day away from the track, rounded up Pj Larsen, Dean Wilson, Tony Blood, Mark Samuels, doubled up on a bike, grabbed the cameras and hit the narrow winding trails of Beaumont in search of some gnarly jumps!

Tony Blood calls California home but never spends a lot of free time in the hils. Regardless, he came out to tear it up and that's just what he did. After his first attempt to clear the huge double failed short by a couple feet, he got up brushed the dirt off his gear and hit it a second time, making it look easy.

Dean's cousin, who came out to visit in sunny California, came along for this Beaumont trip  .
