Vurb: Beau, what have you been up to?BH: You know, just hanging out with Terren (Odell).
Vurb: That's cool, what's new in Texas?
BH: (laughs) Nothing much, I usually go riding with Terren and watch him and then we go swimming and work out together.
Vurb: How's the leg?
BH: Ahh it's good, I've been going to physical therapy three times a week.
Vurb: It's been a couple months since you broke your femur at Mini O's. How are things looking at this point in time?
BH: Ya, I crashed at Mini O's endoing through the whoops, tried to save it - but that didn't work out. I broke my femur and collarbone.
Vurb: What are the odds you'll be back for Texas?
BH: I'm trying for Texas but I doubt I'll be there. The doctors said six months at the least and Texas will be four.
Vurb: With broken femurs, if your not casted usually you can be up and walking around, correct?
BH: I have a rod in there from surgery but I've been up and walking around since a week or two after surgery. I went and got my knee looked at after my leg was feeling better because that was pretty sore, but I think I'm fine.
Vurb: Will you have to get that rod taken out?
BH: Actually no, they said I won't ever have too. It grows with my bone.
Vurb: It's unfortunate but most of your 2009 season will be spent healing up.
BH: I'll hopefully be back in May, try to get in some Loretta's stuff and possibly make it to Loretta's. We'll see. Maybe even Ponca.
