Now that the Vurb Classic is over it’s time to breakdown how our Hired Guns faired against some of the east coast’s fastest regional talent. We shipped in the best in the area, and though some decided to skip due to threats of rain, we still had a solid grip of the nation’s fastest amateur and pro talent.

See below for a result focused breakdown of every Hired Gun that received a Vurb Golden Ticket to this year’s 2nd Annual Vurb Motosport Pro Am Classic.

Jase Lewis is atop this list for good reason; he dominated on his home turf on Sunday, sweeping MX Lites, MX A and 16-24 Unlimited. Lewis has seen his fair share of trouble in the world of pro motocross, but there aren’t many who could hang with the Kawi rider on the red clay in Georgia. His long legs allowed him to blitz through rollers like a BMX rider manualing over singles and his smooth throttle control on the slick red soil kept him well ahead of the competition in every moto he lined the gate for.

Cooper Webb didn’t have a perfect weekend. Sure he swept the 9-13, 12-15 and Supermini classes, but his 8-6 for 7th overall in Schoolboy on his 150 killed his chances at a perfect sweep. In case you can’t tell, we’re being a bit sarcastic here. Coop looked as impressive as ever since healing from his broken wrist. He’s back on pace after missing Loretta’s and will be a handful to deal with come time for Mini Os.
