We sent Jason Crane out to the North Central Youth Regional to put together a video recap of the weekend for Vurb, which you will be able to check out later on this afternoon. To our surprise, Mr. Crane decided to pull out his still camera and put together a short recap on some of the riders who he felt shined over the weekend. While it’s not exactly a full race report, it give a small peek into who might by vying for a title come Loretta’s. Read on…
SUPERMINI 1 & 2
Supermini riders beware, Jeremy Martin means business. The Suzuki backed rider will be returning to the ranch this year looking to be one to watch out for. Martin had little trouble sweeping the weekend at the North Central Youth Regional, winning all six of his motos.
Last year at the ranch Martin raced both Supermini classes, finishing within the top ten in Supermini (12-15), and an outstanding forth overall in the Supermini (14-16) class. Could this be his year to finally overall with a podium or even a championship?
Martin looks to be one of the "boys to beat", riding a virtually flawless weekend. On top of that he is not only fast, but seems to be very consistent. With the championship being held only a little over a month and a half away, it will be interesting to see how Martin will fair. We can't rule out riders such as Adam Cianciarulo, who is looking to be another strong competitor for the title this year. In the North though, other riders to watch out for were none other than KTM backed Kody Kamm, Suzuki’s Jake Riggle and Honda’s Mitchell Oldenburg.

SCHOOLBOY 1 & 2
Justin Bogle will also be returning to the ranch this year. Bogle has stepped it up to Kawi big bikes this year and as everyone expected, doesn't seem to mind the change. He’s riding under the esteemed Canidae Motosport Xtreme Team Green tent and will be expected to show up huge in
In the third moto of the Schoolboy 1 B/C class Bogle did not exactly get the start he was looking for. Looking as if he was going to take it from the inside, Yamaha's Luke Renzland was able to slingshot himself into the early lead.
On lap two Renzland had to fight to keep the lead from being stolen by Brad Frace. Bogle, catching the roost of both riders, stayed close behind waiting patiently for his opportunity to make the pass. Around lap three, his wish was granted and the

WOMEN
Taking a look at the Women's class, Jenica Paulsen seemed to be the girl on the gas.
Finishing 1st in all three of her motos earned Paulsen a trip back to the ranch. By the looks of it the hard work seems to be paying off for Paulsen. Not only will she be going back to the ranch, but quite possibly will be one of the girls to beat. Only time will tell so be sure to keep an eye out for Jenica.
51 AMA 2 Stock
The reigning Loretta Lynn's National Champion in the 51cc AMA 1 (4-6) Stock class, Lance Kobusch, will be returning to the track where he
dominated the field just one short year ago. Though this year it looks to be that Kobusch won't have it as easy, having a tough time finishing 1st overall.
Now, this is not to say that the Cobra rider is not going to be one of the top competitors, Kobusch is still extremely fast, and amazes most everyone who watches him. The young boy has an impressive amount of natural talent, and is still young for the class he is in.
